This and That

Here's a bit of randomness uploaded from my phone.



Gabe's been a little OCD lately. The other day he sang me a song he made up. It went like this: "I love to clean up! I'm so happy to clean up!" He is really turning into a responsible young man. His future wife will thank me :)


Speaking of growing up, Gabe and I started a new tradition a few weeks ago: school shopping! He was so excited and told everyone who would listen what we were up to. He chose light up shoes (of course) and Mario backpack and lunchbox. Then he chose our favorite Thai restaurant for dinner. First day tomorrow! More pix to come for sure.


I was feeling domestic last week, so Ali and I learned how to can peaches. Don't they look pretty?


Another thing I'm quite proud of: I beat Erik in Scrabble. Fair and square. Let it be noted, because it will probably never happen again. It took me 10 years to finally win. At any game.


These two have become such good buddies over the summer! Grace is really going to miss her brother while he's at school all day! We took one last jaunt to the aquarium before school starts.
