Here are a few more pix. This was the view from the balcony of our room. The resort we stayed at was amazing! We experience some of the best service ever. Everyone was always looking to help you or bring you something. The grounds were gorgeous and the rooms were beautiful.
We were sitting in a little cabana by the pool when this iguana wandered over. The waiter happened to be nearby, so he ran over to the tree and brought the iguana some flowers to eat. Even the animals get pampered there :o)
You can't really see it in the picture, but there are probably 15 iguanas hanging out around us. This seemed to be their hangout by the lake. They were everywhere! We also saw a monkey in a tree near the pool and several racoons came out at night.
The last part of our trip was a little crazy. On Monday, we were ready to board when the announcement came that our plane's windshield cracked and our flight was cancelled. Apparently, there are no airplane windshield replacement centers in the tiny Costa Rican town we were in, so everyone was bussed to a nearby Hilton hotel. My parents were due to fly home about 12 hours after we would have arrived, so they had to drop Gabe off with Ali (thank you!!!). Delta finally got the windshield fixed the next afternoon around 3pm and we eventually made it home. We love the USA :o)

i cant believe you got stuck there with those yucky guys!!! haha...someday you will look back and laugh..just probably not today!
Even with the delay, it looks like you had an awesome time. It looks beautiful in costa rica. I can't wait till this summer so matt and I can have a trip without the boys.
