At times it does feel like a gloomy rainy day (like when I look through my pantry and realize he can't eat 95% of what's in there!). But then I remember it could be much worse, there are plenty of other options for him and life will go on. That's when my spiderman umbrella comes out and we dance around together and wonder at how sweet life can be!

This post made me cry! Even though I already knew about all of this, just seeing Gabe's happy little smile and his passion for life made me choke up. Man I love him!!! I wish I had some tips for ya, but all I can say is to just keep smiling and let me know whatever I can do! Even if its to fly out there and help you switch up your pantry! :o) Love you guys!!!
Well, you're right about one thing. Life will go on and he is so lucky to find out about this now, before he is set in his ways! I love the positive attitude you and Erik have about it all too. Yes, it will be hard at first but Dr. Petajan always told me that 95% of my quality of life would be my attitude and the other 5% would be my health issues. I love that advice and I have tried to take it to heart. There are plenty of other peoples trials that I would never want to trade with! Everyone has something. There will be many blessings come from this, you watch!
I love you, mom
