I have been asking for a swingset for a long time. That's right, me, not the kids. It's been a long and full campaign. Today the dream came true.
We decided to make the kids earn it. They did chores like cleaning the toys up and making their beds. Gabe learned all the sight words for next year. Grace learned (almost) all of her ABC's. And, we made a really good effort to have family prayer and scriptures every night. Lily did all the laundry for a week. Oh wait, she created the laundry. And, we won't forget Erik who went to work to earn the money for it :)
And today the reward.
Spring break is awesome.

yay! Congratulations! Looks like it is well worth all those chores :)
SO SO FUN! I bet they'll appreiciate it more since they had to work to get it! I can't believe how fast your kids are growing up. It's crazy how fast kids change (even just after a few months).
