Gabe's first Christmas is just a week away! This is our third attempt at a photo with Santa to mark the occasion. First, we went to the mall. Gabe actually seemed quite curious about Santa and didn't give much of a reaction either way. Unfortunately, the extremely overpriced pictures didn't turn out great. Then, at the ward Christmas party, we snapped a photo a split second before Gabe realized there were about 50 people watching him sit on a stranger's lap and he broke down in tears! Finally, we visited Santa at an outdoor mall near home. Our first attempt gave similar results to those at the ward party. So, we hung around a while so he could see Santa was nice. Then, we took a picture with mom sitting nearby and, finally, Gabe reluctantly sat on Santa's knee while we shook some jingle bells like crazy to distract him and got our final picture.
